Enigma Pro Wrestling joined Special Olympics of Palm Beach County in an effort to bring smiles to the faces of Olympians during the signature event on Saturday, March 5th.
Stefan and Julio of the Guadalupe Brothers as well as Ace Slater, distributed awards to athletes as they crossed the finish line.
The Olympian's were elated to see and meet wrestlers and were very moved by the engagement of these larger than life performers. The wrestlers took the time to speak to the athletes and provide photo opportunities as well as joining in on a flash mob dance contest.
Special Olympics director, Rich Fleming, reached out to the Enigma offices mere days before the event to attempt to coordinate such an effort and the Enigma staff cheerfully coordinated the request. "This is a special opportunity for our brand as well," states Enigma head, Darrian Dority. "Giving back to the community that we serve only makes sense."
Enigma wrestlers will be on hand again, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at John I Leonard High School for the next Special Olympics event. Selected talent will be on hand to brighten the day of these outstanding athletes who strive for greatness
