Lake Worth , Fl-Enigma Pro Wrestling star Dan D. aka "Danny Dubstep" celebrates one year clean and sober, defeating substance abuse for the win.
In an exclusive interview with the Enigma Pro Wrestling "On Demand Network", Dubstep shares in his own words what it was like to be pinned by his demons.
"I never knew what freedom felt like. I lived my life a slave to my addictions. I didn't think there was a God, and if there was, he definitely didn't have my best interest at heart.
All my life I never felt like I was enough. So I did the manliest thing I've ever done in my life in May of 2015, and I humbled myself and asked for help.
I came down to south Florida and got the help and treatment I so desperately needed. I came to accept that I am an addict. Through the admission, acceptance, and maintenance of that fact, today I am able to be so much more than that. I can be a son, a friend, a role model, a functioning and contributing member of society.
I can be Danny Dubstep, and I can be a winner. I never could have imagined what my life would turn into when I reached out to Darrian pleading for the opportunity to prove my worth. But he gave me that shot, and I've wrestled every single month for Enigma Pro Wrestling since then. I have a single win to show for it. But something I've learned in my life is that a man is measured not by how many times he falls but the amount of times he gets back up. And I will never stop.
I love my life, I love this industry, and I love the Enigma Pro Wrestling family, both the fans and talent alike, too much to ever give up."
Now that Dubstep has conquered his most epic battle in life, his sound and clear mind allows him the ability to zoom in on his most formidable Pro Wrestling opponent to date, John "The Jet".
What will happen when these two meet face to face on June 5th as Enigma Pro Wrestling presents IGNITION? Who will be left standing?
