Where are they during the show?
- In the rear of the venue perched on risers
Why do they wear headphones?
- to hear each other over the thunderous music, live audience and to receive information from the Executive Producer.
Is it easy to be a Professional Wrestling commentator?
- absolutely not. It is a high stress environment that requires multiple layers of respect as anything you say or do is instantly transmitted live to the world. Additionally, it takes a unique type of intelligence to call the action while listening to a Producer in your ear who is communicating with multiple people. You need to posse the ability to listen to all of the traffic in your ears and to ignore it at the same time. All while not missing a beat as your voice in live on air for the world to hear.
